Guided historic house tours are offered Friday through Sunday, June

WORKING THE LAND: THREE CENTURIES OF FARMING IN CUMMINGTON
Friday, June 25 through Columbus Day 1 PM to 5 PM
Exhibit on Cummington's agricultural history. Friday through Sunday, June
25 through Labor Day; Saturday and Sunday, Labor Day through Columbus Day;
Monday holidays included. FREE TO ALL
CRAWLY CRITTERS: CHILDREN'S ECOLOGY PROGRAM
Saturday, July 12, 10AM to NOON
Where are these critters? Where do they hide? What do the eat? Join naturalist,
Rene Wendell, to look at crawly critters in their natural habitat and under
the microscope. Adults accompanied by children: FREE. Trustees members:
$2 per child. Nonmembers: $4 per child. All children must be accompanied
by an adult.
19th ANNUAL BRYANT HOMESTEAD CRAFT FESTIVAL
Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18 10AM to 5PM (RAIN
OR SHINE)
Enjoy juried high quality crafters, craft demonstrations, bands, children's
activities, costumed guides, tea on the verandah, food court, historic house
tours and Rivulet Trail tours. Entrance fee: Trustees members: $4. Nonmembers:
$5. Children (under 12): FREE. |
CONCERT ON THE LAWN: GREENWOOD MUSIC CAMP
Sunday, August 1, 3pm to 4:30pm
Join the talented students of the Greenwood Music Camp, Cummington,
for a musical afternoon on the beautiful Homestead lawn overlooking
the Westfield River Valley. FREE TO ALL. |

A WALK DOWN THE RIVULET TRAIL WITH BOB LEVERETT
Sunday, August 8, 1 PM to 4:30 PM
Bob Leverett, expert on old growth forests, leads a walk down teh Rivulet
Trail, measures spectacular trees and signs his new book.. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER,
LIMIT 30 PEOPLE. Trustees members: adult $5, child $2.50. Nonmembers: adult

RIVULET TRAIL WALK & POETRY READING
Saturday, August 22, 1 PM to 3 PM
Enjoy the cool shade of the Old Growth Forest, reading Bryant's poetry
about summer and his love for this very special site. Trustees members:

AMONG OUR HILLS & VALLEYS: HISTORIC BARN AND FARM
TOUR
Saturday, September 11, 10 AM to 4 PM
Tour historic barns and farms in the Windsor/Cummington/Goshen area at
your leiosure. At the Bryant Homestead enjoy barn building demonstrations,
children's activities, and refreshments. View an extensive diosplay of
historic farm equipment at Cummington's Kingman Tavern. Adults $5. Child
(under 12) FREE. Tickets with maps may be purchased at the Bryant Homestead
before or on the day of the event.
This event is co-sponsored with the Highland Communities Initiative
(HCI) and the Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA)

5TH ANNUAL AUTUMN ANTIQUE APPRAISAL
Sunday, September 26, 1 PM to 4 PM
Kimball's Auction and Estate Services will appraise art, furniture or other
collectibles for an instant assessment of your valuables in the red
barn. Refreshments available. Appraisals cost $5 for one to three
items or $7 for up to a limit of five items
